For the launch of their new hydrogen vehicle, Toyota went Back to the Future.
In partnership with Universal Pictures and featuring video-taped speeches from Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, Toyota introduced Mirai to the world, on Wednesday October 21st, the same day Marty McFly ended up in the future. With Quixote Studios transformed into Courthouse Square guests enjoyed 80s inspired fare crafted in the new millennium.
Custom bites for the occasion included "Rehydrated Pizza" on steamed buns with tomato leather, eggplant caviar and powdered parmesan, "Tuna Niçoise" brochettes, "Poutine" with braised lamb, yogurt, and chickpea fries, Orange Julius and apple pie push-pops, and "Pop Rocks Truffles" in a variety of wild colors and flavors.
