Our Story

Love Catering was founded by Los Angeles caterers Jimmy Smith, Hermes Clausz and Jonathan Darr, who combined their passion for food and hospitality into a modern, sustainable and custom catering company that has not only grown exponentially, but leads the industry.  

Now in its fourteenth year, Love Catering continues to expand beyond it’s humble beginnings: incorporating on-site hospitality services for JP Morgan Private Bank, Disney Animation and Milk Studios, as well as providing social catering for many of Los Angeles' most prolific hosts, custom catering for experiential marketing events, brand launches and production accommodation for major studios and production teams.

Sustainability

At Love Catering we are very passionate about the use of local and seasonal products using organic and sustainable meat, dairy, and produce whenever possible.  Whether Niman Ranch pork, organic eggs and milk, or produce from Tutti Frutti or Weiser Family Farms, we not only get better ingredients at the height of their season, we also support local agriculture and sustainable communities. 

Another way that Love Catering keeps its commitment to sustainability is by following a recycling and composting program ensuring an almost zero waste kitchen.
